The Boscher Knife Classic Straight from F. HERDER is a butcher's knife of the classic Solingen design. The 13 cm blade runs straight and ends in a rounded blade end – the typical shape for boscher and breaking-down work.
The straight spine and the evenly running edge give a long, steady cutting line. Because there is no pronounced point, the knife can be guided close to the bone and close to the skin without piercing unintentionally.
The handle is made of cherry wood and is fitted with brass ferrules at both ends. A brass ring sits at the end of the handle for hanging the knife up – a practical detail in commercial use, where tools are changed quickly.
The blade carries the fork logo of the F. HERDER brand with the lettering HERDER as well as the origin marking MADE IN SOLINGEN GERMANY.
Made by F. HERDER in the tradition-rich knife city of Solingen. Made in Germany, with the standard of quality that has distinguished the brand since 1727.
