The narrow filleting knife from F. HERDER has a particularly slim, straight blade with a fine point. It is available in 18 and 21 cm.
The small blade width is the decisive dimension here: the narrower the blade, the less resistance it meets as it enters, and the more closely it can be guided between fillet and bone.
The straight edge rests along its full length and separates evenly during the pull. The knife is therefore designed for the long, clean cut surfaces that filleting and trimming call for.
18 cm is the more agile size, 21 cm brings more blade length for large pieces. The green plastic handle is insensitive to moisture and easy to clean.
The blade carries the engraving Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn, the marking SOLINGEN GERMANY STAINLESS, the spade symbol with the lettering PIKAS as well as the series lettering Don Carlos. Made by F. HERDER in the tradition-rich knife city of Solingen. Made in Germany, with the standard of quality that has distinguished the brand since 1727.
