The fish knife with a 31.5 cm blade from F. HERDER is the long version for large fish and whole sides. The blade is narrow throughout and ends in a rounded tip.
The great length has a practical reason: a side of salmon can be taken off in a single, continuous pull without stopping. Every stop leaves a step in the cut surface.
The rounded tip is equally deliberate: when working flat, close above the skin, the blade should glide and not pierce.
The green plastic handle is insensitive to moisture and easy to clean.
The blade carries the engraving Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn, the marking SOLINGEN GERMANY STAINLESS, the spade symbol with the lettering PIKAS as well as the series lettering Don Carlos. Made by F. HERDER in the tradition-rich knife city of Solingen. Made in Germany, with the standard of quality that has distinguished the brand since 1727.
