The herring gutting knife from F. HERDER with a 4.5 cm blade is the short version of the classic fish knife for gutting and cleaning.
The straight edge ends in an angled tip. With it the throat can be opened and the belly slit in one pull, without the blade going in deeper than necessary.
At just 4.5 cm this is the shortest size in the range. It is intended for small fish and for workplaces where the blade is guided close to the hand.
The blade carries the engraving Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn, the marking SOLINGEN GERMANY STAINLESS, the spade symbol with the lettering PIKAS as well as the series lettering Don Carlos. The green plastic handle is insensitive to moisture and easy to clean.
Made by F. HERDER in the tradition-rich knife city of Solingen. Made in Germany, with the standard of quality that has distinguished the brand since 1727.
