Leather Scissors 18 cm Don Carlos

The Lederschere 18 cm Don Carlos from F. HERDER is a robust craft scissor, specifically designed for cutting leather and other firm materials. With an overall length of 18 cm, these scissors offer you a long cutting path and the necessary leverage to process even thicker hides precisely.

Its slender blades run straight and taper to a point, a geometry that allows for long, continuous cuts. This prevents the material from being pushed away in front of the cutting edge, which is crucial for clean and exact edges on leather cuts. The red, plastic-coated handles provide a secure grip in your hand. The differently sized finger rings offer your thumb and fingers a firm hold, even during powerful cutting.

These leather scissors are ideal for craftsmen, saddlers, shoemakers, or anyone who regularly works with leather and similar robust fabrics and values precision and durability. The blade is engraved with F. Herder Abr. Sohn, the traditional Pik-sign, and the lettering of the Don Carlos series. It is manufactured by F. HERDER in the traditional knife city of Solingen, reflecting the quality standard that has distinguished the brand since 1727.

To ensure the longevity of your leather scissors, wipe the blades with a damp cloth after each use and dry them thoroughly. Store the scissors in a dry place to prevent corrosion. The scissors are not dishwasher safe. If the cutting performance decreases, the scissors can be resharpened if necessary to maintain their full functionality.
