The mushroom knife from F. HERDER is a small harvesting knife for mushrooms, herbs and garden work. The blade is 6 cm long and curved inwards.
The inward-curving edge draws the cut material into the blade as it cuts. The mushroom can be cleanly separated at the stem instead of being pulled out of the ground – the mycelium stays behind in the soil.
The handle is made of orange plastic. The signal colour is a deliberate choice for the woods and the leaf litter: a knife that has been put down is immediately visible again. The plastic is insensitive to moisture and easy to clean.
The blade carries the engraving Friedr. Herder Abr. Sohn, the markings SOLINGEN GERMANY and Rostfrei Stainless, the spade symbol with the lettering PIKAS as well as the series lettering Don Carlos.
Made by F. HERDER in the tradition-rich knife city of Solingen. Made in Germany, with the standard of quality that has distinguished the brand since 1727.
